Re: [T3] Foaming heater channels


There is an aerosol pack of foam solvent - probably on the same shelf as the
foam in Home Depot!
Unfortunately it will almost certainly leave some clogging the drain holes in
the outer rocker.

I guess it may have been an attempt to lose less heat through the rockers - more
heat inside - but the warmth in that area helps keep it dry and probably reduces
rusting in damp climates.

Foam filling exists in the rear quarter roof sections of fresh air Fastbacks,
and does a lot of harm.  Type 4s were full of the stuff and rust out in these
box sections.
