Yes, the crease is a bit sharp near the top of the door, so I am a little concerned about the chances of a good repair. That's why I'll keep an eye out for a new door. And since Greg lives just 15 miles away from me, I have thought about his door, but I had to dismiss that thought... I guess I'll have to find a body shop for an estimate. -Mark Fuhriman '69 Fastback, original Toga White paint with a dented driver's side door.. near Oakland, CA -----Original Message----- From: Dave Hall <dave@hallvw.clara.co.uk> Sent: Nov 8, 2004 12:46 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] '69 Door You may not get that panel to come out properly - usually they replaced the doorskin. You may find it pops out - but if it's a sharp crease, it won't. Greg has a good Toga white door - but I expect his car is too attached to it, and it's rather a long way to go. ;-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
