For info on the Type 34 I strongly recommend you go have at look at the Type 34 Registry site; www.type34.org, and join the Type 34 mailing list via the link at the site. You really need to know what you are letting yourself in for. Daniel ---- A few days back I posted a link to a Swedish razoredge for sale (topic - painful). Over the last days, I have not been able to get that car out of my head. I have been all over the web looking for info on those cars and I am feeling more and more hooked. I know from previous experience that - when this happens, I«ll usually end up with another "soon to be car" in my poor parents garage... BUT - and this is really the topic. What to look for when buying a car like this? I mean except for the obvious rust. What parts are that unique that they must be on the car when purchased? Are there any rust traps that are not obvious? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
