[T3] Wont idle.....still

<x-flowed>Ok my turn with the hair pulling problem. As some of you may remember I 
recently took my early single port, side draft motor down to the long block 
and cleaned it all up real well.

Well Ive since tried to get it started with it firing but not ideling. Ive 
taken the carb off and cleaned out the plugged idle passage ways. Put the 
carb back on with the same problem. So I put a known working carb on. Same 
problem. I rebuilt the fuel pump. Same problem.

Problem is it starts and remains running if I feather the gas. As soon as I 
let off it dies. Re start, it shoots to life then dies if I dont feather it. 
It dosnt accelerate well eithor. I have to feather it to get it up to high 
RPM.

Is my timming off, would it cause this? The trouble with this early motor is 
it has two marks on the fan. What are they? 0,7.5 or 10?? It also has NO 
mark 180 deg out for 2 and 4 setting. So I could be setting it wrong.

Any input?
