The 411 was sold from 8/68 until 7/72 and superceded by the 412, sold from 8/72 until 7/74.

For the U.S. market VW began selling the 411 in March/April 1971 as 1971 models.

Are these really '71/'72 cars? Was VW making these along side
of the T3's?
