The problem is I'm not sure how minor it is. When I revved the engine 
with the aircleaner off, I could see the oil coming out. On the other 
hand it's most likely been leaking like this since I've been driving the 
car - assuming it hasn't suddently got worse - and I haven't lost a 
large amount of oil.

I would have no problem at all not driving the car for a while if this 
didn't mean that I would have to go to the second-ever meeting of our 
local Karmann Ghia club (of which I am the founder) in the Hyundai :~(
