> Ive set my chokes to stay open... and its 5 minutes before I can drive the > car... in the Summer! On my parent's old Delta Green 66 SB, I could reach through the window and fire it up on the first try whether it was sitting for 2 months or was just driven several hours. I had the chokes set to stay closed on that car. It was stored inside and we do have a nice warm climate hear though. I usually let my cars idle for a minute or 2 anyways before I take off. I don't mind at all and it's a good time to check to make sure everything seems to be functioning properly. Nowadays I have to wait 2-5 minutes after I'm done driving too. Most of the stuff I drive these days are turbo powered and they need a short cooling off period after use before turning them off. -Patrick D. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
