> None of the shows I've been to have had them. Lucky you... I (like a lot of folks) aren't into them. How about how shows are judged? Most northern California shows are participant-judged. The only exception I can think of is Peninsula Automotive, a small show near San Jose. I was surprised when dudes with clipboards were coming around asking, "may I see your engine?" You should have heard the murmurs rise up through the crowd at Kelley Park as they announced the split-window bug winners. David Orozco got second with his awesome example (was first last year), while a clean but slammed splitbug came in first in the early class. The people had decided -- but it wouldn't have gone down that way if it was like a points-based stock class. It was very interesting. -Greg ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
