How can I clean out > the inside of this, There's no easy way. you can clean out some of the stuff with long tweezers or chopsticks thru the louvers in front of the windshield. You should pull out the long drain hose and clean it out; you can actually also remove the short hose and clean it out, too. And you can get a wire into the airbox from there and sweep out some stuff once the short hose is removed. You can pull off the outlets on the sides and reach in thru those holes once you open the air flaps and remove some stuff, but be careful not to the damage the rubber flaps that are on the bottom of that chamber. Actually removing the airbox is a lot of trouble, because you have to take out the radio, all the air ducts, probably the glove box, the flap controls, and then drop the airbox and take it apart. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
