Actually, I was at a VW show this weekend here on Long Island and there was a type III with A/C that had some kind of plastic duct from the place on the body where the air comes in to the air cleaner opening (which was offset by 90 to the front of the car like this O- The duct was very nicely made and looked like an original part (maybe made in the states for dealers?)... Would anyone have one of these? I know there's a guy on the list who needs one.
