They get their power through a fuse holder  connected to the power side
of the ignition coil. From there they go forward, through hole in the
engine tin, to the switch in the front shift housing. This harness then
comes back to a "T" connector and branch to each side of engine
compartment and then on to the backup light in the bumper.
