RaulR=> What about 5.5" BRM's? I've heard that BRMs with Type 3 offset exist, but I don't think I've ever seen one. Wrong offset will push the tires outward, often causing rub issues as well as more subtle stress on the suspension. The alloy wheels to seek out for our Type 3 were the options for the 914s. => Is the required offset the same for a Type34 Ghia? Yes, the entire Type 3 is uniform in that regard. Type 4s too, for that matter. => is there more fender clearance? The fenders on a 34 might be a shade tighter, but not enough to matter.
