Anyhow, we've updated the website to share with you. > http://hkin.educ.ubc.ca/sanderson/Personal/Notch.htm The disk brakes and tandem master cylinder will both be good things. You'll need a late tandem brake fluid reservoir to go with them, however. The rear subframe is IRS which is also good, but you may choose not to use it, because it lacks the support that your 65 engine needs at the rear of the tranny. You could switch to this system, but you'd need the rear engine mounts that would have to be welded to the sides of the notch body, and you'd need a late engine which had the drillings and crossbar to connect to those mounts, as well as an IRS type 3 transmission with the CV joints and axle half-shafts. Personally, I prefer the late IRS rears, but there's a lot of stuff to change if you want to go this route. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
