Rust has to be completely removed or it will come back... even POR 15 just covers it and Im finding that it come right back through that too. You have 2 choices... sandblast or chemical removal. Grinding doesnt get to the bottom of the pits and it will come right back. You then weld in new metal or panels where the rust has perforated. Bondo MUST NOT be allowed to get wet... from eather side, its like a sponge for water and can only be used to level the surface if there is no way water can get to it from the back side. It cant be used to plug a hole. Good bodywork takes skill and some special tools.... how good do you want it to look and how long do you want it to last?
