<x-flowed>I'm gonna have to disagree on this one.  While Martin and I were checking out 
auto part stores for our alternator conversion kits we found a variety of 
battery cables with the factory-look manufacturing (sleepy, can't think of the 
right term) bonding of the cable and clamp.  Same goes for the braided ground 
strap...all lengths/sizes out there.  Go to a street rod show, especially the 
big ones, and check out the vendors.  Replacements would be easy to find!
