Correct the hole is for the wiring harness to pass into the channel to the 
back of the car.
This how early car are, I think this was stopped in 65 for squares, not to 
sure about 65 and on notches as the only one we have around here are all pre 
65.


Luckliy the owner of this car isnt going for a perfect resto, he only wants 
a nice solid driver again. The donor rockers are a bit different [67] but 
can be made to work, as it would be very hard to find correct donor rockers 
of thisw size.

I belive that in 66 the harness was moved into the cabin of the cars and ran 
along the inside of the rockers under the protective panel..can anyone with 
a 65/66 confirm this?
