It doesnt cost them anywhere near that much unless they are trying to sell you the very high pressure stainless steel braided stuff that the drag racers use. Our systems are only run at about 30 psi. All you actually need is standard gas line. It is usually rated at 250 psi burst pressure. Try another parts store. I have bought Gates hose recently for less that $1 a foot. I also recently had to pay $1.20 inch for Tygon tubing for a chainsaw gas line. It was a weekend, and I couldn't get any from work. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '65 T1 (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
