Nah, 25 feet is pretty close, and better to have more hose than not enough.  
We did the job on a '69 Square at the DDB's shop, and used about 19 feet.  
All the lines under the tank (including the little loop to that dampner thing),
the two that run from the pan to the engine, and the ring main loop.  It 
would have taken more if the car was a later one with the coldstart valve.
