Actually I took the fuse box out, and was trying to figure out how to take the instrument gauge out(the one to the left of the speedometer) but it started to rain a little. So I put everything back together...until next weekend. Hopefully dry weather. An yes it is a large rats nest of wires...I'm sure I've knocked something loose already....I looked at what I believe is the flasher relay, and I see one spade connector is not hooked up. I also noticed that there is agrey wire coming out of the ignition, that is not hooked up to any thing, I don't know if theis is an extra wire only for newer T3's or it is supposed to hook up to something. I imagine it is not too important(probably a door buzzer or something) -kevin '65 kombi '71 sqbk somerville, ma -----Original Message----- From: Jim Adney [mailto:jadney@vwtype3.org] Be careful there. It's easy to mess things up and disconnect wires accidentally that you'll have a hard time figuring out where to put back. If you do this, you will probably have to loosen the fuse box and the light switch so that the whole harness can come down. Pulling the back off the instrument gauge on the left can also help. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
