40 psi will work, but a 60 psi gage is better. You want the gage working
in the middle of its range for the best accuracy.
BTW, I have made this offer before, but anyone wanting their gage
checked, if they send it to me, I can check it against our test
equipement (which is calibrated against the Bureau of Standards). Only
cost is the postage.
