In this case, a blown fuse usually means that the wiring harness has been moved and is laying against the axle shaft on the right side of the transmission. This has probably worn thru the insulation somewhere, eventually shorting out and blowing the fuse. It's important to get this fixed right, because this usually goes hand in hand with wearing thru the CV joint boot there and ruining the CV joint. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
