My T3 visors were junk.  I got new ones and the rod was 3/8" short of 
reaching the center hooks.  So, I put on my visors from my rusted out 74' bug.  The 
gap around the mirror is larger, but they drop down lower which is good when 
the sun is dancing on the road.
