I don't know what the problem is with the 009, but the consensus out there is 
that it's got a poor advance curve. There appear to be old and new 009s and the 
quality of the old ones may be better, because we all know that it was well 
liked 30 years ago.

OTOH, there's little mystery to advance curves. Once you understand what you 
want you realize that there's little point in paying extra for something which 
you already have in hand.
