You probably just need to buy some fuel hose in the correct size. You can pay extra for German hose, but I don't find the quality to be any better than US hose. You may have to buy metric to get a size that fits well, however. Since your car was most likely FI originally, you'll find that the pipe which carries the fuel thru the center tunnel is 8mm dia, which makes 5/16" hose a very good fit. The fittings on the carb will likely be smaller. If your filter has those common stepped ends, then you probably need 5/16" up to the filter and 1/4" or 5mm from the filter to the carbs. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
