There have been plans for doing that showing up on Ebay a couple times. About 20 years ago a friend of mine did that to a couple of them for ultra lights. Did anyone see "Monster Nation on one of the Discovery channels the other night. The stripped one of the GT-40 replica kit bodies off a T-3 and used it on a Monster off road 4x4, and threw the rest of it away. The engine looked like it had dual throat Webbers on it.
