RE: [T3] Jump starting


Would this apply if the car your jumping the battery 
from was hooked up wrong; but the T3 was hooked up correctly?

How could you tell if the computer was ruined.

If you put the cables on backwards you should get a big spark even if your 
battery is dead. If you stop at this point there won't be any damage. If you 
actually try to start the car then anything which is solid state may be ruined. 
This would include the radio (if it is on), the turn signal relay (maybe), the 
FI computer....
