TO DDB: I've been watching the posts about the pan replacement and have come to the conclusion that quality work comes from people who aren't *just* mechanics, but mechanics who LOVE their work. Do any of you know of such a SHOP/MECHANIC with those standards in the SF/Bay area? I've got a pan that needs replacing, amongst a host of many other things that my <very> limited wrenching skills may not be able to handle on my own. -------------------------------------- Thanks BTW, to all for the advice on how to check a new acquisition! -Ed -----Original Message----- From: T3 Junkie [mailto:theddb@hotmail.com] Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2004 10:15 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] Pan repair...maybe you should just swap! Keith ,all- The out board seat mount was replaced when the new section went in, as the replacement section already had this. thanks Martin Magnia The DDB, Portland OR _________________________________________________________________ Let the new MSN Premium Internet Software make the most of your high-speed experience. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=byoa/prem&ST=1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
