Re: [T3] Weber 34's and which dizzy to use!

<x-flowed>Hot VW's did an excelent atiicle a couple of years ago. They did comparsons of the advance curves on the different VW distributors. I have been using the 009 for 16 years. My experience has shown that the 009 is great when using Dellorto DRLA 40 carbs but don't work well with stock carbs.

We'd been discussing the 009 distributor, so I finally went to see what kind of
info I had on it's advance curve. I find that I have nothing. The Bill Fisher
book includes curves for the 010 and the 019, but doesn't even mention the 009.
In fact it mentions that the Bosch "Screamer" kit includes the 019, so I'm
kinda at a loss to explain when and where the 009 came into the VW picture.

I know I have some Zeroxes of Bosch advance curves around here for some other
random distributors, but I can't find them right now. They may actually be at
work so I'll try to look tomorrow.
