The readings sound on the low side. If you're really attached to the case I like the stuff Steve linked to. http://www.aluminumrepair.com/aluminum_repair.htm Now, I've never tried it, but they specifically mention that it will work on alum/mag in a oil filled environment. Worth a shot. On the other hand, if you're going with new P&C's, why not a new case and don't worry about it?
