[T3] Perfect fastback

I was at the local Aircooled VW Club meeting in Tel Aviv today. It was 
getting dark and starting to rain, and I was about to go home. Just as I 
was getting into my car a friend of mine drove up in his orange 1973 
fastback. It's an American spec car with FI, and it's perfect. It really 
is like a new car. It's the first time I've seen it for a couple of 
months, and he's just finished restoring the few details which weren't 
totally perfect to begin with. This is as close as you can get to an NOS 
car.

The reason for this is that it spent the last thirty years in a climate 
controlled customs storeroom. The car apparently belonged to an old 
American lady who came to live in Israel and brought her new car with 
her in 1973 but died before she could get it from customs. It spent the 
next thirty years in storage, and was auctioned off last year.

I'll probably see it again next week and I'll take some photos of it., 
and post them on my site.
