This or the socket drive type alen wrench with a long bar for leverage. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP THE ALEN HOLE! The backs of the treads are exposed to the outside and get rusty. I stripped two while adjusting/removing my doors on my 62. I had to drill and retap them. Pain in the butt. Put some penitrating oil on them for the night before you have at it. I ended up replacing the alen heads with regular bolts after slapping neversezze all over the threads. And to answer your actual question: Yes this is how the door is adjusted with the striker plate. jason > One of the hand impact drivers seems to work best to loosen the hinge > bolts. the kind you smack with a hammer while twisting. >> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
