Current license plates, will keep them off your back, as they can't do anything about a "legal" vehicle. This is how I can keep 5 type3s (out of 11 vehicles) here on my property. You can build a fence, but the township is also leary of people building fences for fear of a junk yard starting behind them. They actually will look there instead of just passing by. >I would expect some kind of notice in any case. Around here, they won't tow, >they tell you to tow, or they start fining you. Yes you get a 10 day warning, then a fine, and if still nothing is done, they haul it away at your expense (bill you later). Russ wrote: >On a same note, I live in a rural area. Were not quite in that same situation, rural yes, but we have a mix in my neighborhood, with houses on 100x100 lots, and those with 5 to 10 acres. Well some of my block is residential, some agricultural, and some commercial, and it all depends on where your at on the street to determine what rules you fall into. My closest neighbor owns a couple of horses, and is behind me, so she can see what I have "hiding" out back. They've been quiet about my cars, so I've been quiet about the smell of horse manure. : ) >A developer is trying to get 30 modular houses built on a 120 acre piece >across the road. There was a developer who was going to build across the street from me, wanted to put in 120 modular homes, but the citizens stopped him cold. He was also a little surprised to see people standing outside of the meeting hall in an effert to keep him from building it. I think it still comes down to paying attention to what is going on in your area, just to keep the HOA nazi's at bay. I mean, this IS why we moved out of the city in the first place.
