Dear Type 34 Karmann Ghia enthusiast, 

Something very exciting has happened. For the first time in it's 15 year 
history, the Type 34 Registry is opening up it's archives and expertise for 
free. There are no more annual dues to pay. You are a member just cause you 
are interested in these fun cars. Whether you're just curious about this 
rare VW, or if you have a garage full of them, you'll have a great time 
looking through this new improved website. 

You May Already Be A Member!
Since we revamped our website just a year ago, we've had hundreds of 
visitors come and register. But, there was always a fee to see the good 
stuff. No longer! Now you can cruise the site and see all the info and 
conversation in our forums for free. If you wish to participate you'll have 
to sign up for a free account, but that's just so we can all be on a first 
name basis! 

What's New?
Tons! First and most exciting is our Type 34 Registry Database. This 
represents 15 years of collecting data about every Type 34 we could find. We 
know that with this new system, we'll find even more! Come on over and see 
if your car is listed. If it's not, put it in!
Next we have our new Classified Ads. We won't have a million ads like 
TheSamba, but if you want a Type 34 part or car (or want to sell one) this 
will be your destination! Add photos to ads, edit them, delete them, all by 
yourself!
Last thing to mention (although there's too much to list!) is our new 
store. Sure we've got shirts, hats, mugs, stickers and more featuring our 
cool new logo, but that's not all. We have made it easy to order replacement 
rubber from our source in Thailand. Just browse the catalog and purchase 
through Paypal. Couldn't be easier.

Well, the address hasn't changed, just the curb appeal. So head on over to 
http://www.type34.org and say hi to the gang. We're waiting to meet you and 
talk about this great vintage Volkswagen.
