I guess I'm getting The Real Source and Parts Place mixed up. I THINK I've
seen
both catalogs and that they have a similar look, but I'm not all all sure
anymore.

Actually the parts place has been in business since the late 80's /early
90's, under the name of Recycled Bugs(the early name of the place). They are
located in Pontiac, Michigan, just off of I-75. I've been in their store there
several times, and they do have type3 parts, but they are a little more expensive
than dealing with the more common parts suppliers. I normally used them when
I needed a part within 2 days or less. Their catalogs are made of a newspaper
like material too, versus the high gloss paper the Real Source uses. They
really are more geared for the water cooled cars, but they also carry air cooled
parts. They offer great service too, even with mail orders (I've done it both
ways with them). I will still shop at other places though, unless I really need
something from them. Just my take on them.
