Re: [T3] Need a pair of 12 Volt Choke plates

I tried taking them off and doing a continuity check across them. The R side
carb heating element had both connections and read 12 ohms.I am not sure
what the correct messurement is but at least I had continuity so I connected
it and grounded it , turned the Ign key and it worked. However the L one had
the heating element broken , and I tried soldering it but it did not work.
Steven mentioned earlier today that they were the same on a set 34 mm
solex's and CB Performance has them in stock. So I am willing to try this.
About where I live, I am I Az, on a Military Base and the closest place I
have that resembles a VW shop looks like a Barn next to a Junk Yard, I am
not sure I want those Guys working on my Fasty. Chirco is about 45 miles
from where I am located and I have not called them yet, I have a 4 day
weekend starting tommorow so I probably will go to Tucson and Check them
out.
