[T3] running on 2 cylinders

<x-flowed>I drove my car over to my friend's house today, and noticed that the car had very little power. As I shifted into 2nd gear, the car was very slow to accelerate, and if I tried to go up a hill it would eventually slow down to the point where I'd have to shift down into 1st gear.

I had the heat on, and I reached back behind my seat to feel the air coming into the rear footwell from the left heat exchanger. The air was very cold. I reached over to the right side footwell and found warm air coming into that footwell.

So I guess both cylinders on the left side are not firing. When I got home, I did a compression test on the #3 and #4 cylinders. #3 is getting about 100 pounds, and #4 is getting slightly less than 90 pounds.

I'm thinking the left side carberator is not delivering fuel to the #3 and #4 cylinders. Does this seem like a reasonable theory? Can you suggest any tests that will confirm this theory?

Gary
