Wow... Fantastic... Nothing I'd need until the spring, Keith... The fender I have on right now is completely bashed in on the front (and now has started rusting through), and the top shoulder toward the door is rusted through. It's the only body panel that's rusting clean through on the car. Strange place to be rusting... I'm sure the dents could be pounded out? But I'm a couple years away from having the skills to patch body panels... On other note, it was recently suggested on the list that bumpers were easy to straighten out? How do you do that? When the car was hit (before I bought it), the impact pushed the side of the bumper into the right front body panel. Before I go replacing the panel, I'll need to pull the right side of the bumper back out, the section past the mounting bracket. Any ideas? ===== ----------------------------------------- Have you driven your Type 3 today? http://www.tiserves.com/VW/ ----------------------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
