These heads are Stock VW bought through Berg. It has the dual valve springs but the 1641 is a very mild build up by Berg standards. I know it never got too hot and the other head is rock solid so Im quite concerned with why Im having problems. I have had this happen to cheap aftermarket heads in a totally stock application but thought that I was safe with genuine VW.
