The light NEVER comes on for me.(well until the other day but not heat
related)Even after extended high speed (80+mph).No in-shroud cooler.
Blocked off hole, added sheet metal(nice, nice) and added 96 fin cooler
w/thermostat. Oil dripped on inside of wrist doesn't burn at all

(thermostatic oil bypass valve and thermostatic fan on-off >switch) Donoald has been happy as a clam.... the tapping into the >oil pressure relief area directly is a bad idea in cold

No.Works very well as long as you have sufficient thread for fittings. And teflon tape.

climates..... setting it up like a bug requires cutting of the fan shroud.....

Again,no.I cut nothing. All tin intact and tight.Wired on cool tin tightly also.

find a decent yet striped out fan shroud and youll be

Screwed IMHO.The stock fan and shroud are very efficient.Once you remove the blockage
to #3 cylinder and redirect aiflow to resemble the shroud on #1 and #2.,cylinder temps
even out nicely.Thermostat must be intact and functional.Warm up happens much faster.
