	Yes, I too was guessing that the filler hole was the most 
likely point of entry.  I'm glad that that path is to the "dirty" 
side of the filter!

	Do folks have experiences with shop rebuilds?  What is a 
rough estimate for the cost?  I would remove and reinstall the 
transmission myself.

	Alternatively, if anybody has a good used AT within 100 miles 
or so of San Francisco, California, drop me a line!
