Re: [T3] 1962 scam, er, Notch on Ebay
<x-flowed>The web site it says to check out is weak. On the site they list this
car's price as $5500. There's also a late model Notch for sale for
$6000 but no info (year, engine, etc.).
As for this particular car, I see they have a nice picture of a crappy
tire yet NO pictures of the engine or tranny -- WTF??? Incredibly nice
looking super-early T3; all the ones I've seen need work. And why
"upgrade" to a 1600cc engine? Do the push buttons work? And with the
collective T3 knowledge of this list I cannot believe it when he states
Euro VINs are different when nobody here has ever mentioned this --
yeah, he's the only person who knows this and we don't? Riiiiight.
And can someone point out the Euro parking lamps on the pop out windows
cuz I can't see 'em...never even heard of them...

I asked him some serious questions about the VIN #, seat covers, and some
other stuff.
Every answer was suspect and/or made no logical sense.
Examples:
VIN: He said it was the right VIN # and that European VWs had different
VINs...
