Lovely flat roof - why not just tie it on there? Put a bed sheet or blanket between, and make sure your lashing keeps it in place. Plenty of tie-offs - spare door handle, cooling louvres, maybe outside mirrors if you're careful - and hold the front down as well. I generally use gutter-mounting roof bars for that sort of thing. Drive gently - there's a huge lifting force on it at speed, as anyone who's tried to carry a board in a strong wind. Dave.
