I think Kennedy made the conversion kit, and I suspect they might be hard to find today, but who knows? Details on this and much more can be found in the Bill Fisher book: How to Hotrod Volkswagen Engines by Bill Fisher published by H. P. Books, Tucson, AZ, 1970 ISBN 0-912656-03-4 (excellent book, well written and researched) Note that the Corvair engine rotates the other way, so you need a new cam (which came with the Kennedy conversion kit) and a rebuild to make this work. It's a lot cheaper than the Porsche conversion. If you're interested in this kind of thing, you should start by studying this book. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
