<x-flowed>Seriously consider getting a device that tracks the location of the car. There are a lot of resellers out there that install and do this, check out the high end auto audio stores. They are not cheap however.
There are a few home-made devices out there that use GPS, cell phone, and what-not to allow you to locate your car, in case it wanders off on you. I saw the results of one a few years ago that a VW bus person created, and then allowed us to locate his bus using the web. I don't have any ready resources.
There isn't any way to completely prevent a determined thief from getting any particular car. There are just ways of defeating the most common ones.
For a drive-away theft = hidden fuel shut off switch, allows the car to be driven, but only enough to get stuck in a visible spot.
You can buy a copy-cat DenverBoot that clamps over a wheel to prevent it from being rolled away. I have no idea how effective they are however.
Anything to slow them down, is a good thing.
