Check the plug at the base of the steering column to make sure it is plugged in firmly. 3 of these wires connect to the TS switch. You might pull the plug off and put it back on. Unscrew the E-light knob and spray WD-40 or LPS-1 down inside the switch, then screw the knob back in and work the switch back and forth. Check the bulbs. These bulbs actually have dual filaments in front, but don't bother with the fronts until the rears are working. Fronts often have trouble with corrosion in the socket, so you may have to scrape off the contacts, but only after you know everything else is working because the rear is working. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Shameless link for search engines: http://listarchive.type3.org ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
