> Im never too bothered by mods that can be reversed... I sure have enough
on my car, but one thing to keep in mind with the front suspension is that
when you go for the stiff lowered ride, or stiff shocks, it shock loads all
the inner bearings and bushings in the Front beam and the needle bearings
tend to get stamped right into the lower arms. Unfortunately, these parts
are unavailable for replacement. You will eventually find another beam you
could swap out but they are getting hard to find too.
If youd like, I can send you the Front end FAQ, yea, its written for the
lightsider but it explains how things work and what to look out for.

Im not going for ride comfort... theres always trade offs... Im a
performance person... most people would then say ... why did you choose a
volkswagen... i then reply with a middle finger. I want him to ride stiff
and im not doing anything to the car that cannot be reversed when the time
comes.I firmly believe when it comes to these old Precious type 3's or
volkswagens in any many that when you modify do it in a manner that can be
fixed later, and put back to stock. Im young , only 20, and im very much
a... lets see how fast we can get this puppy to go kind of person, in the
same respect i would not put my car in a situation to which it is risky on
if i could recover it or not.
