I've had good luck with pertronix & I run all year. Just follow the instruction sheet that comes with the unit. Your coil has to have a min. resistance from conn. 15 to conn.1 or it doesn't want to start. I did hear that they tend to eat plug wires but I haven't experienced the problem.
