[T3] Gas filler overflow hose

As luck would have it, my new gas filler overflow hose came in while I 
was away at the invasion.
I found two hose clamps with it. Obviously one goes on the filler 
nipple, but I can't tell where the other specifically should go.
Should I clamp the end inside the trunk (before the molded grommet) or 
inside the fender (after the molded grommet).
