I recently (about a year ago now) put a new headliner in my square using one of the kits from JBugs. Just recently, my headliner is starting to do something quite annoying... when I retract the sunroof, the headliner is fine. When I close the sunroof, the headerliner which is tucked back into the opening for the sunroof pulls out. I'm talking about the rear lip of the opening for the sunroof where the headliner is wrapped around that. I did the install myself and was pretty pleased with the results (for a first time... it's at least better than I expected) as it beats what I started with. I'm guessing this is happening because the contact cement didn't hold and i'm sure it doesn't help that the new sunroof panel (with vinyl headliner on it) was a much tighter fit with new vinyl than the 30 year old piece. Any ideas on how to fix this besides re-gluing this? Is this a common problem? How about some kind of clips? I know that's not too visually appealing, but it's to the point where I don't even want to open up my sunroof anymore because of this. I hope I don't have to start all over, that job was a pain in the @$$.
