Most people dont have the equipment or knowhow to properly calibrate a tach, especially if its been messed with by adding such things as shaft extenders and different needles. Its quite a delicate balanced assembly... took me a bit of noodling to get the ones I made calibrated properly. They are also very temperature sensitive. Keith > I have one in the 62 notch.
